Can an ISL SIM work in background? 1

Hello everyone

I need to create an ISL that will begin a check, upload the menu items, and then make the payment, but at the workstation where this should happen there is also an employee working. Can an ISL run in the background and do all the work without interrupting the employee using the workstation?

Not directly.

Actions in SIM basically macro together things that occur on the screen.
If you order a menu item via SIM then the user will see it on the screen.

You can achieve what you want by writing a C# DLL which interacts with the Transaction Services API. You can then call this via SIM.

How exactly you achieve this depends on what version you are using 3700, Simphony etc.
