Can an analog (500) set have line privacy on a DN that is shared with digital sets?

My customer has multiple (3) digital 2616 sets with the same 0 and 1 key DN's on them. They would like to use an analog cordless phone with the same DN but need line privacy because of Medical office issues. Is this possible?

It is possible to have privacy in a mixed configuration of digital/IP and analog sets.
1. On the digital/IP sets, remove the appearance of the Directory Number on keys 0/1.
2. Configure the analog set with the required directory number AND use CLS MCRA (Multiple Call Ringing Allowed)
3. Go back to the digital/IP sets and add the Directory Numbers back on keys 0/1 as MCR.

Thank you for the help. This seems to be working out great. As always this forum comes thru.

This mechanism was originally put in place to allow privacy between Companion wireless phones (which used an analog interface) and digital phones.
