can an administrator login whilst User is logged in

I would like to know if there is a way of logging into a winnt4 workstation whilst a standard user is logged in.

Example
User --> Steve
Administrator --> Liam

Whilst steve is logged on to his NT4 workstation, Liam would like to install a printer. without logging Steve out of his workstation, is it possible for Liam to log in via the dos command promt, perform the installation and then log out of the command prompt and regain Steve's login?

You need a third party program. Most SA's recommend Dameware (

http://www.dameware.com).

I *highly* recommend it, and couldn't manage without it.

VNC is another, but I find it a bit slower.

why not just add the printer to steves logon script ?
