Can AIX refresh be installed on different machines?

Hi,

Is it true that a os refresh from IBM is tied to the serial number of the machine it was ordered for. The reason I ask is we have 7 RS/6000's!

Also, is the same true for the C compiler?

No you can install AIX and C on any box regardless of serial numbers. so you only need one of each set of CD's.
