One of our users has to send an Acrobat 5.0 PDF file to a government agency that only has Acrobat 3.0. Will the recipient be able to read the file? We don't have 3.0 to be able to test it. . . Any help would be appreciated.
It's not likely because of backward compatibility issues. Acrobat 5 has the ability to save "down" one version (v4) but not down 2 versions. BUT, the latest Acrobat Reader is free on the Adobe site. Have your client update their reader (if they can).
Knock and the door shall be opened unto you. Seek and ye shall find!
I love Mondays cause they're the Second day of the week!
