can Access import "interbase" .GDB data

I need to try to get data from an Interbase 7.1 database using Access. Will Access import this database type? I don't want the client to send their database if Access won't work.

Can interbase export to Excel or to a csv/txt file? Just a thought of how you might proceed if you cannot import Interbase directly.

Is there an ODBC driver for Interbase such that you can see Interbase database from Access?

If an ODBC exists for Interbase than you should be able to link it to Access.
