Can a virtual loop be segmented?

We have a cs1000 7.6 system. Recently we have moved a lot of workers to 2050's. In doing so they were built on virtual loop 224 1. Can you segment out a virtual super loop?

a virtual loop is only available to be used for use with IP sets and trunks, when you config a super loop in LD97 you only define the loop as a whole so TN 224-0-0-0 to 224-1-15-31.

As far as I recall, a segmented loop would only apply to ACD enviroments where the 128 time slot loop applied.
