Can a View be Created in Progress?

I have an 8.3 version of Progress. Can a view be created in this version of Progress?
 
You're talking about a SQL view, right? I believe you can but you can't access them from the 4GL, only with SQL. Then again, I do very little with SQL so I'm not 100% sure.

According to the "Progress SQL Guide and Reference" for version 8, the answer is yes. As richtpt pointed out, this capability exists in the SQL environment, not in the native Progress environment.

The Progress 4GL uses the keyword VIEW in a couple of different ways related to data display, not manipulation. Don't get confused on that point.
