Good evening, I had a system crash. A Raid adapter was replaced. once the system was back up. it started a consistency check on the RAID 5 disks, all are showing online but the consistency check is running very slow. I wanted to know if I can vary on the volume group and mount the filesystems associated with the volume group? By vary on the VG is there a possibility that I can lose data? I am running AIX V5.3

can a VG be varied online while consistency check is running.
