Can a VDN be made visable on a CM phone directory 1

Hi all

Might sound strange we have been asked if a department that has a global External /internal number that routes to a VDN can be made visible on the Avaya CM platform.

We are currently running 6.2 soon to be going Aura 7

Any advice greatly appreciated
 
well you can turn on a feature as "save vdn name in stations call log"..from there you can save the contact ..thats the only method i can think of.

Not that they mean a thing anymore , get a brain dump pass the test crash the system.
 
You could set up a virtual extension with a coverage path that routes to the VDN. The virtual extension would appear in the CM phone directory (assuming you're referring to the directory accessed by the Directory button on the phone)
