Can A SMS Primary Server Be Moved One Server to Another?? 2

HI,

I have been tasked to figure out if an existing SMS Primary Site server can be moved from one machine to another without re-constructing the whole site (excuse lack of correct tech speak - I've never used SMS 2.0 until about 30 mins ago.

I hoped that I could build another Primary Site Server and simply turn the first one off, but after seeing nothing about it in the admin guide I guess that is a no-goer.

I also hoped you would just be able to demote the server and promote another just like NT, but I guess I am wrong again.

Can anyone please help me with this problem?
