Can I set up the DSNs on the server and have the client machine use them? I thought I had seen somewhere that this could be done but I am unable to locate where I found it.

My company wants to minimize the amount of upkeep at the client level.

I think you would need the odbc on each client if it's a normal DSN. Now you can make a file DSN that you leave on a shared drive and have everyone use that instead. Note: not all applications can use a file DSN.
