I am having problems scheduling a report written in Crystal 8.5 using Seagate info 7. I thought perhaps it was because Crystal 8.5 is a more advanced product and may be incompatible in some areas. The report runs fine in Crystal however I encounter formula problems when I run it in Seagate Info. The formula is definitly not wrong (its very simple) and was written in Basic syntax instead of Crystal Syntax. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

A reporting written in CR8.5 using Basic Syntax will not work in Seagate Info 7. This is because Seagate Info 7 uses the CR7 Report Engine.

Basic Syntax wasn't introduced until CR8/Seagate Info 7.5.

In general, CR8.5 Reports will work in Seagate Info 7 as long as the report formulas, etc... are compatible with CR7.
