Can a PC use IPCOP web proxy if its not using it as default gateway?

Hi

I noticed previously that i cant access the IPCOP inbuilt web admin interface from a pc that is not setup with IPCOP as its default gateway, which i presume is by design. But what about if i activate the squid proxy, will i be able to point PCs webbrowser to IPCOP and get web access through it?
