Can a PC mice work on sun keyboards?

Hi
Just wondering if I was to buy a logitec optical 3 buttin ps/2 mouse. Would if work on a type 5c keyboard.
Replacement mice for sun keyboards are to expensive compared to their pc counter-parts.
So i'm trying to take the cheap route

If you go to

you will find the pinouts for a sun mouse and a pc mouse.

VERY different pinouts. The PC mouse will not work on a Sun
keyboard.
