Hello Everyone

I'm experiencing a EXP-INTF Error Type 3585. Part of the troubleshooting process is to replace the lightwave transceiver at both ends, problem is that its a 9823A(Short Range)and all I have is a 9823B(Long Range). I don't think a 9823A would lock up on a 9823B, maybe, I don't know. I would assume if I do use a 9823B on one side I would need to change the other side out with a 9823B as well. Do I really want to use a 9823B if the distance is only 20 feet? This would just be a temporary condition until I could order some more 9823A's. Anyone's input would greatly be appreciate thanks!

I think your right Kyle, the wavelength difference between the two cards I believe would definitely cause problems. I just need to decide now if I can put 9823B's that close together and still have them work. Thanks for the link!
