We use a SuperConsole 1000, and would like to replace it with an IP phone. Can we use a 5312 or 5340 for this purpose instead of a dedicated console? I imagine we would have to program a number of lines in a hunt group and put those lines on the keys of the phone. What key type? Single line? With the superconsole, the console operator can just enter the extension of the called party and the call will be forwarded. Can this be emulated with a desk phone? Thanks in advance!

The 3300 can be programmed is a way such that a low volume answering position can answer and transfer calls with a 5340.
- Method varies depending on need, size of system and volume of calls
- Transfered calls would need to invoke a feature via a key press

A The Sx-200 can emulate the console almost exactly with sub-att functionality
- Would need a key press to invoke transfer of calls
