I have written in VB6 a utility that gets and puts messages to and from an MQSeries server. The utility was written using the bas files that are included with MQSeries 5.2. My question is this: Can this same utility work, unchanged, to get and put messages to and from a 5.3 MQSeries server? I am running on Windows XP sp1.

Can 5.2 utility run against 5.3

Most likely it will run just fine. MQ is (for the most part) downward compatible.
