Hi.

this question is about the Mitel AMC.

My customer has a active software assurance, until 2011-11-xx but for some reason the MCD software releases is not available, the only releases of software that I can select is release 8 and 9 noting above.

anybody that has any experience or something about this?

Regards UO

If your software ensurance is valid then report this to the AMC via the Contact option in your AMC screen.

Would that not simply be because you have to upgrade to Rel 9 before you move to 10?

Your software-assurance must show as active when you click on the appl. id. But when you purchase software assurance on a appl.id. that has been inactive for a while, you must also buy a software assurance RE-enlist before you can see al the other sw-versions.

really dumb question, but depending on your screen resolution, you may not see all the drop down box. the software loads changed from 3300 to MCD and they are at the top. here is what I see on one of our R9 controllers

— select version —
MCD 4.0
MCD 4.1
MCD 4.2
3300 ICP 3.0
3300 ICP 3.1
3300 ICP 3.2
3300 ICP 3.3
3300 ICP 4.0
3300 ICP 4.1
3300 ICP4.2
3300 ICP 5.0
3300 ICP 5.1
3300 ICP 5.2
3300 ICP 6.0
3300 ICP 6.1
3300 ICP 7.0
33001CP7.OUR2
3300 ICP 7.1
3300 ICP 8.0
3300 ICP 9.0

Moving to MCD is the new stand alone/Enterprise licensing model. You will most likely need AMC assistance to do the transformation and then the software should appear in the pull down. Becuase of the new licensing MCD doesn't automatically appear.

The single biggest problem with communications is the illusion that it has taken place.

@ loopyLou, if that is the case then why could he not see MCD 4.0? This doesn't require standalone/enterprise licensing?

Hmm good point.

The single biggest problem with communications is the illusion that it has taken place.

I read with big interest, I have also checked with distributor that the license is correct.

Thank you and I will come back with info what solved the problem.
