Can´t create text files delimited with blank

I am NEW to Visual dBase 5.5, previously I used dBase for DOS version 2.0. With it I used to create text files delimited with blank with the extension 'prn'. Now I can´t create them, even with the extension 'txt'. It always separates the fields with comas, even when I choose space as delimiter. Is it normal? Please somebody help me. I really need those files

Not familiar with VisualDBase myself, but later versions of DBase-like products supported the COPY TO command, like:

USE MyDatabase
COPY TO MyFile.txt SDF DELIMITED WITH BLANK

Give it a try, it might work.
