Camp On/Barge In

Next issue. If anyone has ever used either of these features and gotten them to work, please advise. Does Camp On work with VM enabled? I didn't think so, but have another customer that says it works with VM. I'm hitting Transfer/extension/Camp On. Call goes to extension just as a transferred call and dumps in VM.

I put a Barge in button on a phone and tried it, but got nuttin'. Why not on Operators phone????? Thanks,

Well, there is a REALLY nice work around, depending on what you are trying to do.

Do your "End Users" have D-I-D?

Would they like to have their calls screened by the RECEPT?

Are they never/seldom at their desks?

- AND - if they are seldom/never at their desks, would it be handy for the RECEPT to announce the call and have them be able to pick it up where ever they are?

If that sounds like what you are trying to do, RE-POST and we can provide a neat little work around.

- - AND - - NO, if you just try to use CAMP ON with an EXTENSION that has Voice Mail, it will not work.
