I understand that Windows 98 came with a program called 'Camcorder' that allows one to, in effect, record a live-action macro ... in other words, record the screen while you perform certain steps in any program. This is helpful for training purposes. However, I can't find this program on my machine and I keep getting 'cannot access' error messages when I try to us a copy of the program given to me on a disk. Does anyone have any insight into this little thing?

TIA

I thought it was part of Office 97.

Browse round the Win98 CD or the office 97 CD. There is usually a program that lists the add ins.

You're right - I researched the MS website and found that it came with Office 97. Even though it's not included with Office 2000 it can be used with Office 2000 if already installed. My problem: where can I find it if I have Office 2000? I'm looking around the MS site and can't find a place to download it. Maybe there's another place to get it?

TIA

Probably have to get an Office 97 CD and install it too. Somewhere on the MS website are the instructions to install both versions of Office. I'll see if I can find it again. Do you have a video card with "tv out". I think there is a way you can use it with a card like that and some other software.
