I'm new to Flash world. I'm creating a Calculator simulation Flash application. This will have calculator image and button "Show how add 2 numbers". When I hit this button a cursor ( some sort of arrow) should come and click on key "1", then key "+" , then key "2" and finally "=". Can anybody suggest some ideas so the I do it properly.

I'm planning to add calculator image in 1st layer. Then adding 4 buttons on 2nd layer to map "1", "+", "2" and "=" keys. Is this correct method?

I really appreciate some guidance.

Thanks in advance.

If you look into Help->Samples... You'll find a calculator example!

Thanks for your response..

In this sample they are creating calculator using buttons. In my case I have to use image of calculator ( it should like actual model ). Any suggestions ?

Thanks

just use the buttons they have in the sample, but make sure there is an image only in the HIT frame of the buttons. Then just drag them over the 1,2,3,= etc buttons on your image.
