Good day folks,
This one is a bugger - it happens intermittantly, and nothing I see explains it.
IPO 406 with 4412 phones, analog trunks, single site.
One lady upfront is the target of all inbound calls, but if she does not answer the call overflows to a group containing the sales agents so the call gets picked up by someone. The probs below are experienced when she is handling calls and distributing to user phone or VM as needed.
The receptionist sees a few variations on this issue:
She parks a call, does direct intercom to announce the call for the user to pickup. Some moments later she gets a connection from the destination phone in speaker call mode, and finds herself able to listen to an office conversation, or background noise around the phone if the user has left the office.
Variation on above but she transfers caller to user's VM box. She then later gets that last user's phone connecting to her in speaker mode.
Another variation is that instead of a connection from the user's phone in speaker mode, she'll get a light on one of her line appearances on her phone. It will stay lit until she goes offhook and hangs up. When she goes offhook there is nothing there to hear.
cfg and sysmonitor trace files have been sent to Avaya, but nothing back yet in the way of an answer.
Has anyone else seen this ?
