There are two 3300 ICPs at two remote locations conneted with IP trunks. Each ICP has PRI with DID. One of the system has configured an ADC path. On both systems I had DID System speed dials pinting to ACD and everything was nice and clean. But there is a problem, IP link drops once in a while and the second system gets disconnected. So we desided to forward all the calls back over PSTN to the firs system. I've created a hunt group with following members, speed dial to the ACD path and another speed dial which has to dial the primary DID over PSTN (91xxxxxxxxxx). So, if I dial the second speed dial from my local extension it goes trough, if I dial the hunt group and that speed dial is the only one member, call goes to the 1st Alternative for the hunt group. Speed dial over IP trunk works just fine as a member of the hunt group.

Ideas?

Set up a route list, first choice use the IP trunks, second choice point to PSTN. Then on your second route you can do whatever digit modification is required to route the call to the other system over the PSTN link.

If you have XNET enabled you can use the PRI trunks to set up a virtual network and it will function identically to the calls over IP trunking.

XNET is a pain to program but well worth the effort.

Consistancy... Is only a virtue when you're not a total screwup.

XNET over international PSTN connetion :) It defeats the purpose. I need it to kick in for just one DID. The idea to setup routing sounds pretty good, but I feel that the next request is going to be to setup a local extension at the remote location if call cannot be completed over IP or PSTN. Management got used to an idea that we can do everything in a snap of fingers.
