Hi All,

I have a question that I hope has an easy answer.

I have a Mitel 3300 that utilizes SIP trunks through a Mitel Border Gateway. I have two actually, one in our corporate office and another in a remote office. Outgoing calls on the SIP trunk in the corporate office work fine. The caller ID shows up on the receiving phone no problem but it shows a Private when dialed from the remote office. Everything appears to be configured the same on both systems but the data presented to the SIP trunk provider is not the same.

Corporate office sends:

"Contact: TheNumberDialed@192.168.100.10"

Remote office sends:

"Contact: anonymous@192.168.123.224"

I know why the call is showing Private but what I don't know is how to change it so the number dialed is provided instead of the word "anonymous".

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Does the remote office have its own SIP trunks or does it use the SIP trunks at the main site i.e do the calls come across IP trunks to the main office then go out on SIP?

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

Is the Indial number for the remote office part of the SIP trunk number range?
Do you have a cpn substitution for the remote office site on the site with the sip trunks?

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Also check the if the DN in the telephone directory is not set to private

If its not broke tweak it..
