We have a 2000IVS. At a remote office there are 3 incoming lines. When people call on line 3 the receptionist will answer and transfer to an extension if no one answers it will not go to voicemail. The same scenario but people calling on line 1 or 2, the transfer to voicemail works fine. Any ideas?
Thanks

I would be listing up cmd 30 for all three and seeing where line 3 differs. If they are in different routes I would then move on to Cmd 35

Thank you for your quick response.
I looked at cm30 00 and found line 1 & 2 were assigned to route 00, and line 3( the problem line) was assigned to route 03. I compared the data for route 03 and route 00 in cm35 and and only found 1 differance.
cm35 01 > 00 = 4
cm35 01 > 03 = 7

I tried setting cm35 01 > 03 = 4 but this didn't seem to help the problem.

I also tried setting cm30 00 > 003(the problem line) = 00(same route as line 1 and 2). while this fixed the problem, I would imagine there was a reason to setup the different route for line 3.

can you think of anything else to check.

interesting why would someone set up CCSA Trunks?!?! most have been out of service for years and a lot of carriers don't support it any longer. it would explain your troubles. If they are standard C.O. lines (loop or ground) I would leave 3000 = 00. it shouldn't affect anything else.

If your third line was also used by a fax machine would be a good reason for the seperate route. An easy way of making the fax use that line but give you access to it when the fax didn't need it. It would take quite a lot of detective work to find out why it was set that way originally and I think that search is beyond what we can do via this medium. Try changing it to the same route as the others for a while and if nobody experiences a problem, just leave it at that. If they do have problems you can change it back and get back to us as that will give us a starting point to work with.

Thanks for all your help. I think I will change it for now and see if anyone has problems.
