Calls keep dropping once in a while on M2616 phone

One of my users keep getting her calls drop. One minute she is talking and the next it just drops it.
Any idea how I can go about resolving this problem as to also finding out why its dropping.

Have you tried replacing the phone. I know that sounds funny, but it could be the phone. If she is using a headset that has a base, then check the batteries.

The best way to start testing is to take a working set and put it on her line. (if she is the only one having the problem)

If everyone is experiencing dropped calls, your T1's (if you are using them could be taking hits and dropping calls. Check this second, because you will get into a "no that's a pbx problem,,,no that's a LEC problem arguement with the LEC and Vendor.

Yeah I'll try a new phone and see what happends. But it should not be anything in the configuration of her telephone set that will cause that kind of problems to occur correct. It will be either her phone or a bad port to a bad T1 and not the profile of that phone.
 
correct. If she is the only one having the problem, bet on the phone first, the TN port second.
