I am trying to setup the voicemessages on a Nortel T7316 I am able to record the greeting for the extension but when i dial the extension on the phone system the phone just rings and the voice mail is not picking up for that extension. Would like to know what feature on the phone do i need to enable so the calls go to voicemail when the called party does not pick up.

You should have a FWD on busy and FWD no answer set to your VM extension.

Take care when assigning those values in programming if it's a set that rings with incoming calls. Setting it too low could cause calls to end up in that user's mailbox rather than AA.
