There is a telecom route to MD110 (route 7) and md110 has a route to faxserver (Rightfax) (route73)

Regardless of faxserver, when a call comes to an extension thru route 7 the calling guy can hear the ringing tone and the speech is ok...

But when a guy sends a fax to a DID number(3844) , defined on MD to be diverted to route 73 no ringing tone was heared.
But fax sending and recieving is ok.

How can i manage to send the ring tone to PSTN customer which is trying to send fax via route 73 to Faxserver?

Rgrds.

It sounds as though the Faxserver does not send Ring tone.

At the moment you have route 73 set to use the Ring Tone from the Fax Server.

Try setting D7 of the Sig Parameter to 1 on Route 73.

This will generate Ring Tone from Within the MD110 for calls to the Fax Server.
