Have a pri. System is used for 3 tenants. streering digits get stripped and point to unsed exts. I have SSA buttons for these extensions on the operator phone. The unused phone is set to forward to vm after 6 rings. As of this morning, all calls go straight to vm and just ring the SSA buttons a quick one time. What could have changed?

Magix is 3.0.

I think there was a work around for this. it has been a while but try this. add a coverage button onto one of the phones that has the SSA buttons. add the coverage for the same ext as the ssa buttons and see if it helps. I remember along time ago an Avaya tech told me you could not just have SSA buttons without a phone. you needed a way to force the ring and a coverage would do it.

Try putting a coverage button on the console for the phantom extension. Put it on a button that doesn't extist on the phone (button 28 or something). It will cause the phone to ring for the ssa's but they won't be annoyed by the cover button.

I fixed it,sort of. I could not get it to work the original way this is what i did: I picked a extension that had a phone plugged in that didn't need vm and put SSA buttons for it on the other phones and it works now.

It's aggrivating because the way I had it worked fine for a long time. I don't get it.
