Calls from Nortel using R2 to 3300ICP Using R2-NSU

I have a 3300ICP with 6.0 connected to CO via R2-NSU.
I can make and receive calls from POTS and other 3300ICP
with R2,but I can make calls to Nortel Option11 sites,but
am unable to receive calls from these sites.

Any help is appriciated.

R2 is not my Forte, but I'll try to help.

What sort of signalling are you using? CAS/MF, CCS?
If MF, does the Opt-11 support MF?

Do you have a span of dedicated trunks between the 3300 and the opt-11?

Do you know how to look at the Layer2/Layer3 traces on the NSU?

If you see the calls in the L2/L3 trace, do you see them in CCS Trace?

What is the Caller on the Opt-11 hearing (reorder tone or dead air, or???

Do you have any test equip, such as a T-Berd, where you can go into the span and watch the signalling?

Thks for your response.
These are the answers to questions.
1.I am using MF.
2.There is no dedicated span between 3300 and opt-11.
3.Had a trace done but these calls do not appear in the trace.
4.On the opt-11 reorder tone is heard.
5.NO T-berd available.

Since there's no dedicated span between the 3300 and the opt-11, then do the trunks come from that pass calls between the two (i.e., how are you routing calls to & from the 3300/opt-11) ?

Between the Opt-11 and 3300 is a DMS100.
It is just this one 3300 that is giving problems.
All others work fine.

Am I to understand then that the DMS 100 is the CO switch?

By "just this one 3300" are you saying that you have other 3300s connected similarly?

Sounds like it just about has to be a protocol configuration issue (i.e., something with IMAT)

What happens if you swap NSUs?
I.E., swap the non-working one with one that works.

Today I am going to try some test calls to see if the
calls are reaching the 3300.

Finally got CO to look at E1 to 3300ICP
CO made a change that request ANI always.
Now call from Opt-11 are completed.
