Calls from external covering to MM

Hi all,

We have just recently had a 2.0 Mod Messaging system installed with an S8710, the 2 units connected via IP.

The issue that we have is that when calls are covering to voicemail, there is no MWI being activated and the system is even saying that there is no voicemails for you. This is even after you have just left one yourself for testing purposes.

But if you go into your mailbox and create the message and send off to an extension, that person will get the light and the message as per normal.

Has anyone seen this before?

Here's some things that you can do to troubleshoot:

1) Use the operational history viewer in live mode to see what info is being passed (or not being passed) from the S8710 to the MM.

2) Review the MAS event viewer forany warnings about the MWI service.

2) Review the PBX and MAS settings against the latest MM config notes.

3) Review the install guide, particularly the section that deals with configuring MWI and ports using the VMSC.
