Calls Forwarded but Voicemail not answering 1

I have a station (4024) that is call forwarded to station 4220 in the same office. Station 4220 has voicemail, but when a call from 4024 is call forwarded to station 4220, 4220's voicemail will not pick-up. When a call from 4220 rings and no answer - the call IS answered by Audix.

Why are the 4024 calls not being picked-up by Audix on 4220?

When call forwarding calls to another extension in the switch the coverage path of the extension that you are forwarding to will not pick-up. Not sure if there is a work around on that one. Hope that helps!!
 
There must be a workaround or something to set in the system. I have S8710 and IP phones. I did an experiment just now:

I forwarded ext "A" to ext "B". I got on ext "C" and called ext "A" and it rang at ext "B", then went to the voicemail of ext "A".

Lets say: Ext A = 4024
Ext B = 4220

Is this what you are trying to do? I may not have understood your question correctly.
 
A call forwarded phone will not follow the coverage path of the forwarded to station. The call will be routed to the voicemail box of the station that was originally called.
 
You can change the coverage on the first sstation, add a second coverage point that is a VDN whose vector says" messaging split "XX" for ext 4220"

Try making the change in Audix, not the PBX. Leave the coverage path as Cov1: 4220 Cov2: voicemail hunt. Then in Audix, type change auto rout (change auto-attend-routing routing table). Enter 4024 in the incoming called number field, bus1 in business schedule (before you make a change you can view the business schedules using list auto bus or display business 1 to verify correct time, but this is standard), and 4220 in the day, night and alternate service mailbox.
