Hello, complete avaya noob here.

We have a ACS 6.0 and Messanger 7. Since we are a small company with no real 'operator', we have the operator extension fowarded to a hunt group. However, herein lies the problem; when 2 incoming calls go to the operator via AA, only the first rings, and the 2nd call is dropped. This is becoming a huge problem, since most of our clients are too lazy to use our extensions.

Is there a way to have a group designated as an op, and still not have calls dropped?

If there are any NYC/JFK area experts, please drop me a line. I'm out of ideas already.

thanks a lot

Log into system administrartion. Change the call service operator. You can change the place the dial 0/time out action goes to, if you have the voice mail you mentioned.
Once you do so, test it to make sure it proceds as desired as it will no longer go to ext 10's VM. If you want it to go to VM if unanswered, ask back.
