I have a site using a vMCD rel 5.0 sp2 connected to a 2010 Exchange via SIP trunking.

Something is terminating calls when they exceed 2:06 minutes

A wireshark trace indicates that a "bye" is coming from the gateway when viewed from the exchange perspective.

We've verified all of the settings on the according to the most recent Exchange 2010 document on Mitel's website
(10-4940-00118_3 - Exchange 2010 with MCD4.1)

Has anyone seen this or anything similar?

Could it be the call duration timer in the 3300?

I never enable a call duration timer on any of my systems.

Unless you are speaking about something specific to SIP trunking in which case I am less confident.

Is there a duration timer in the SIP peer programming?

Sorry, k......I'm not that up on the whole SIP thing yet myself. Someone else will have the answer. Sorry I couldn't help.

kwbMitel - had the same issue with a customer running 5.0 with Exchange 2010. Mitel suggested setting the Session Timer to 0 in the SIP Peer Profile. I don't remember if that fixed the problem or if it turned out to be something in Exchange 2010. This customer has moved to 6.0 and Exchange 2013 and the 120 sec disconnect has re-surfaced. We reused the same SIP Peer Profile modified for Exchange 2013 with a Session Timer of 0. I feel the problem will come back to Exchange 2013. I will follow up if we get it resolved.

kwbMitel - Just spoke to the customer. After we set the SIP Peer Profile Session Timer to 0 the problem stopped. This setting is in the Timer tab for the profile you are using for Exchange. Hope it works for you.

Yup SXWizard, this setting resolved my issue.

I really thought posting this question here was a shot in the dark. You'd think I would know better by now. The depth of knowledge on this site stll continues to amaze me.
