Scenario: External PSTN call comes in on Cisco side and routed to phone A on Opt.81 over QSIG trunks. Phone A transfers call to Phone B which is back on Cisco side. This works fine but will leave the 2 QSIG trunks tied together for the duration of call rather then dropping. Cisco Rep says Nortel not capable of clearing the trunks but it seems to me the Cisco side should be doing it in this situation. Here is my DCH and trunks as well as a trace of the trunks tied together.

It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it. Steven Wright

the route is right, (trnb yes).. and that's all it takes in the nortel.. are you dialed just the cisco ext? that can break one.. if i dial a steering code or acod then the cisco ext.. trmb will not see it as a tandem code
