Folks, can a stand-alone Callpilot be added to any of the BCM platforms by just using a digital port or do I need to have keycodes specifically for BCM please?
I'm fairly sure because the BCM have an embedded Call Pilot, that they will ignore the external CP as a voicemail...unless you can somehow disable the embedded Call Pilot.

Thanks all....I was pretty sure it could not be done, but I have a county agency that has a MICS and wanted to make it IP compatible (BCM) as cheaply as possible. They just replaced their NAM with a CP150 in the spring due to lightning damage. Thanks again folks.
P.S. Curlycord: I couldn't get my thread to respond earlier this week, so I thought it might be a problem w/the BCM forum, so I posted here too. Sorry for the confusion.
I've heard alot about them lately; Actually read some comments online and they appear to be a group of former Nortel guys, who have taken the Norstar BCM platform and built their on compatiable box? Good? Bad? What do you think about them?
Their box is actually a pure IP solution but what they did was build a Gateway so you could use the Nortel phones. We have the UCx50 here in the lab and it seems to be a pretty neat little box. One of the best things about it is if you get a user License then it opens everything for that user; Basic ACD, VM, Conf Bridge, Call recording, ect... You don't have to purchase a la cart license like some other systems…..I won’t mention any names..
