CallPilot\Symposium Meridian Mail

Hi all,

Dead easy question (i hope). Can symposium play music or a message held on another site.

FYI most sites are Symposium 4.2 or 5 - so can i script it to play something held else where whilst in queue? Or am i being a bit to "outthere"? (just being nosey)

OK, just so I understand and answer your question -

Symposium/CCMS has access to resources for the PBX that it is attached to. That would include music routes, RAN routes, and CallPilot/Meridian Mail that is attached to that PBX.

If those RANs/music/etc. are part of a PBX at another site, then no, it cannot use them.

Just checking, im trying to minimize some of the scripting and resources etc that is going around just now like i said just being nosey.

CS1k 5.0 does do network music on hold from another location then cc could use the local music route where the network music lands. It's not very pretty though.
