Got a customer who uses a callpilot 150 with reporting software. They have all the latest releases. Now since the year has changed from 2008 to 2009 when the customer logs in to view the reports they are unable to look at 2009 reports. The way its setup is when you select view reports you have to select day/month/year you want to look at from drop down menus. Under the year drop down all that is listed is 2003-2008. They are unable to select or type in year 2009 to view the reports. These reports are VERY important to the customer and I dont even know where to begin. Any help very appreciated.

In real time is the date correct? Try rebooting the CP and server.

Yes everything else is correct. Customer just cannot view 2009 reports. I've noticed that Jan 2, 2009 reports are showing up under Jan 2, 2008. Im not an expert in sql but do I need to create a new database for 2009 or should it do it automatically?

Funny I just got a call from a customer with same problem did you figure out the problem?

I expected alot more people with this problem. No, I haven't been able to find a solution yet. Talked to a guy ealier last week and he couldn't remember all the details but he mentioned "a new directory or something had to be created and point everything to the new directory" was his exact words. I dont recall ever having to point anything to any directory. For some reason its still collecting the data and storing it in the correct month but never created a new year. Im pretty sure it has something to do with a new database file for the year 2009 but as I said Im no expert in sql and dunno where to go from there.

Sorry for double post but unless anybody else has anything, I believe we are gonna have to wait for a patch from nortel due to the fact that there isn't a database for 2009 and the view reports html has to have more code added to it to even be able to select 2009. I've come to the conclusion that the reporting software was hardcoded for 2003-2008 and why nortel hasn't addressed this issue before 2009 has got me baffled. They are going downhill fast.

Are you still able to view the reports as Jan, xx, 2008?

I'm getting nervous. No complaints yet, but I suspect I'll get some soon.

Yea, we installed this reporting server in april of 2008 so the first 3 months of the year were clean. We got the call about jan 2 2009 that the customer couldnt access 2009 reports. So we checked january of 2008 for a s&g's and there was all the call information. Now if you already have jan 2008 info there I don't know if it will overwrite existing info or if it will addon to what is there. Either way your numbers are going to off.

Even though I don't work with your kind of DB's, i think there have been problems with all kinds of DB platforms because of the fact that 2008 was a leap year and the datecode may be messed up. We've had that problem with one of our DB programs and just got it resolved.

I see no release of patches or issues.

In fact nothing since May on the CP 150/100 side.

This is a major issue for reporting side.

Latest if your not sure:
Call Center Reporting Client (CP 31.10.31.22)
CallPilotDesktopMessaging (CP 31.10.31.22)

The file version of your client RCC software should be 2.4.358.6.61 (Java 1.6). & the Voice Mail should be running CP 31.10.31.22. with the RCC server sofware 31.10.28c

Was that a question cook? just verifying.
and pccal are you saying that will resolve or just adding to my post?

Thanks

I am saying that will resolve problem. I called a customer with these latest releases of software & they are having no problems viewing 2009 data.

Thanks and yes it was a question. Will go tommorrow and load em up.

My apologies, I see now that my client software is a release behind. Will load it up and see how it goes.
