Out CallPilot 201i Rls 4.0 has been going down every night for the past 5 days. It comes back every morning when we do a manual reset. It started last weekend when our air conditioning went off in the phone room for over 24 hours and it was over 100 degrees in there. The Callpilot "crashed" and it has not been the same since. Do you think the hard drive is bad and needs to be replaced?

i'd say so.....

cooked...

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

The one thing that troubles me is the fact that on a reboot it always comes with no errors. The mas trace does not show any bad software or hardwate.

look at the hard drive to see if it is full by double clicking on mt computer.you can also go to programs,
accessories, system tools and do a disk cleanup and make
sure you check the box on old compressed file and clean
them out.also can you post what peps you have on the server?

also do you have callpilot hooked up to a CLAN?and if
so disconnect it and see if the callpilot still has the
same issue i had this problem and the CLAN was broadcasting
and filling up my hard drive causing to crash i would
reboot it work then crash again, thats when i decided
to take the clan out of the picture and things worked
fine.the fix was to put a router between the callpilot
and the the customers network and stopped it from
from broadcasting.

It is on a CLAN and is not protected by a router. I will try that today and see what happens.

all you have to do is unplug it and see if it stops
going down.
