CallPilot patch CP501S02G15S - any issues?

I have been experiencing issues with CallPilot reporter not able to export any reports. Our CP Reporter is a separate server. A recommendation to fix this is installing the above patch on the CP server (not reporter). I don't see how this would fix reporter reading the release notes on this patch. Has anyone installed this and had any adverse affects?
