I have a BCM400 running Callpilot. We recently installed a new PRI for outbound calling. In our CCR Tree I have one tree which has an option for an outbound transfer of a call. When users access this option they receive an error message "You are not authorized to call the number dialed". I have checked and the DN that the call goes out on does have access to PRI-B and there is a route defined for the number being called.. None of the other users are having this difficulty and this option was working fine before the addition of the new PRI. Any ideas ?

Do your voicemail ports (active application DNs) also have access to PRI B? Outbound transfer calls originate from the voiceemail ports, not the users phone. Also, make sure the outdial type is set to route in the users mailbox.

THanks for the info. I have added PRI-B to the active application DNs 4211 through 4219 and 4500 and the outdial type is set to route. I'm still receiving the same message.

What do you see on the BCM Monitor? That message sounds like it could be a telco recording. Does your outbound transfer number include '9' or whatever your external access code is?

Our outbpund transfer does include an 8 (81xxx-xxx-xxxx)which is for LD dialing. All other users are not having the problem so I don't think it would be a Telco problem.

You are not authorized to call the number dialed".

Are you hearing this or reading this message?

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

We are hearing the message. Also, when I change the number to a local number ie. 9xxx-xxx-xxxx it works fine.

That does not sound like a Nancy Nortel prompt, it sounds like Telco. Agree with ace's question, heard or in display?

It should not include the 8, in the routing you need to delete 1 and that will just send (1xxx-xxx-xxxx)
