callpilot networking

I have installed the call pilot 100/150 and everything works fine.

the only problem is, i can only access the system via tcp/ip with a cross over cable and a direct connection to my computer.

when i go into the system to change the ip address is tells me

"You must use a fully qualified DNS name"

all i did was type in the following

IP or Host 192.168.0.34
subnet 255.255.255.0
primary dns 192.168.0.1
gateway 192.168.0.1

it will not let me change the ip address of the system

any ideas?

Leave the DNS blank
