We are having an odd issue where a DN is setup with the Message Forwarding Rule enabled and if someone leaves that person a Voicemail Message while the Out of Office Auto Reply is active, the original caller receives a notification that they have an unprinted fax.
It goes somthing like this...
My DN has Message Forwarding Rule enable. When someone calls me and leaves a message, a copy of that voicemail message is forwarded to my email as a .WAV file.
The email is received From: [mailto:18475551212@callpilot.lcfpd.org]
So if my Auto Reply is turned active, Outlook REPLIES and sends the Auto Reply to CallPilot.
CallPilot interprets the Auto Reply as a FAX and notifies the person who left a voicemail message that they have and unprinted fax.
And to make it more complicated…it only seems to happen the first time a DN contacts a user with the Auto Reply active at the same time as the Message Forwarding Rule.
YIKES!
Has anyone encountered this before?
Maybe we could block the auto reply in CallPilot or on the switch?
Any ideas on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated!
