Anyone ever come across this error above login into the callpilot rel 4.0 using desktop messaging?
 
Look in the class of service associated with the mailbox and make sure that the user is allowed to use Desktop Messaging (I forget this every so often).

While you're there, also consider whether users should be allowed to set Desktop Messaging to remember their passwords. If you don't enable this, then users will have to type passwords every time they launch their email client to access their voicemail message store. And you'll have unhappy users.
 
what auth are you using? sounds like an ldap problem

Problem found using cptrace, the pgp email proxy was causing the problem.
