Hello,
Is there a way that we can set our CallPilot to say "Nortel CallPilot, Mailbox?" or "CallPilot, from Nortel Networks, Mailbox?" upon login? We had a system years ago that would say that, instead of just saying "Mailbox?" Maybe someone can point me in the right direction or telling me what specific CallPilot version contained that prompt?

Which Callpilot are you referring too?
Norstar/BCM or Meridian PBX versions?

"upon login?"
From remote or onsite?

I don't think you can edit the Prompts in any case, I know you cannot on Norstar (Callpilot 100/150) or BCM Callpilot.

When you hear the prompt "Mailbox" I think that is the Meridian PBX versions or, in CP 100/150 you can tell a mailbox or the system to use Callpilot Prompts instead of the default Norstar prompts.
I think upon login:
CP mode will ask for "mailbox", then ask for password
Norstar mode will just ask for the password, but you have the option to instead press OTHER on the display then enter mailbox & password together.

Somebody that deals with Merdian PBX will probably answer.

Sorry, I should have clarified there: By upon login, I mean when you dial F981 from a telset. I am referring to the BCM series. The prompt I am talking about can be heard at this number: (719) 333-1234‬.

NVM Interface - Norstar voicemail series prompts
CP Interface - Meridian series prompts

The Callpilot was designed to please both Norstar and Meridian users.
Example: Head office has a Meridian system, and a remote branch office has a Norstar or BCM...so CP Interface can be an option to keep it uniform.

Meridian Voicemail on PBX series
SL1, M1, Option XX, CS1000, Succession

People have tried to go down this road before.
If I recall the file names for prompts are all numbered so you do not know which prompt is which.
I think the hope was that they were .vbk files but they were not.
Maybe best effort to remove a prompt then go though all of them through the set and see which one is now silent and note down the file name.
To record them use a 2050 Softphone and Audacity software to record.
Maybe try to save as different formats then change the .ext to what you see on the PCMCIA card.

Change NVM or CP Interface
In the browser:
Configuration/System Properties/Enable CallPilot User Interface (yours is already enabled)

Mailbox Administration/Class Of Service/COS ID/ User Interface Style/ Change to CP or NVM

Mailbox Administration/Mailbox/Class of Service/ make sure it's in the correct COS ID
