I have the CallPilot HA server configuration, when the server fails over to the standby server the “CallPilot Time Service” fails to start on the standby server. I found the setting in the windows 2003 “Services” is set to manual, if I change the setting to automatic the failover from active to standby works fine. The setting on the main server is also set to manual, but when I switch from the standby server back to the main server the CP Time Service starts fine.
Any one know how it should be set?
What is CallPilot Time Service?
I have not found any information in the NTP’s or on the Nortel web site.

I found that when I set both the CP Time Service, and the Windows Time Service to automatic on each server, the HA system would fail over correctly with out any Intermittent Time Service Failures, during my testing.
