CallPilot DM not deleting messages 1

I've got Desktop Messaging client (ver 5.00.41.112) installed in Outlook 2010. We're running CP server ver 5.0 with a CS1k. I receive messages in my Outlook inbox when they arrive and the MWI light turns off after I've listened to the message. However the message remains on the CallPilot server even though I've deleted it in Outlook. It just sits there as a read message. I previously had ver 5.00.41.97 installed which had the same issue. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be much appreciated.

First of all that's an obsolete version of DM. The newest version is 5.00..41.144 and it supports Microsoft Outlook 2010 32 bit. I'm guessing your version you have may not support Outlook 2010.
 
When you "delete" the message in Outlook you still have to Empty the Deleted Items folder for the messages to be removed from the server (CallPilot). You can also set the options in Outlook to automatically empty the deleted items folder when you exit Outlook.
 
Actually 5.00.41.112 does support Outlook 2010. Suggestion from StanleySteamer did work. I needed to remove it from the Deleted Items folder. That's different from Outlook 2003, if I recall correctly, which deleted the message without having to remove it from Deleted Items folder. That seems to have changed since we moved to Outlook 2007 and then 2010.
