I am trying to implement an application in CallPilot that interacts with the CO for trunkless transfers. When the user selects option 1, an announcement is played. This announcement is simply a series of DTMF tones that play *8, pauses, then it dials the number, pauses again, and plays *2 to complete the transfer. The problem is that the CO comes back with a dial tone after the *8, and in response CallPilot disconnects. These are PRI lines and so we don't need dial tone as an indicator to disconnect. How can I get CallPilot to either ignore dial tone altogether, or simply ignore user input of any type while playing this announcement?

All help appreciated!

SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED A IVR NOT CALL PILOT

So you're saying I should purchase an IVR system just so I can do the occasional outbound transfer without tying up two trunks?
